Reading Discussion: Slaughterhouse-Five, Ch. 9-10

Read Slaughterhouse-Five, Ch. 9-10 (the "end" of the novel!). Here's a link to the excellent audiobook version of the novel read by the famous standup comedian John Mulaney (be sure to advance to the correct chapter). If you use the audiobook, please read along with the main text. There is also a PDF copy of the novel if you need it.

Annotation directions: 

Create at least four total quality sticky note annotations (at least two per chapter). In each chapter, focus at least one of your two annotations on a specific humor technique Vonnegut uses to create satire. On that sticky note, identify the humor technique (see glossary), identify the target of the satire, and explain briefly how this technique works to ridicule that target. Your other required annotation may focus on any TQEs you wish to share in discussion.
